32 stranded Bangladeshis return from India
More than 275 stranded Bangladeshi and Indian nationals returned to their countries through border checkpoints in Assam and Tripura on Thursday and Friday, reports The Hindu.
Among them, 32 are Bangladeshis and 245 are Indians.
Officials in India's southern Assam's Karimganj district said the Bangladeshi nationals had been stranded in India since the lockdown on March 25.
They returned to Bangladesh by road via the Sutarkandi border checkpoint of the district.
Similarly, the 245 Indians were sent back to India through the Akhaura-Agartala integrated check-post.
