AL to form a monitoring cell to face dengue epidemic

Bangladesh Awami League on Friday held an emergency meeting with leaders of physicians to take their opinions for ensuring optimum services to dengue patients and implement effective measures to resist dengue epidemic.
AL general secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader presided over the meeting held at the party President Sheikh Hasina’s Dhanmondi office in the city, said a press release.
The meeting decided to form a monitoring cell comprising of AL leaders and expert physicians to ensure optimum healthcare services for dengue patients in the capital as well as district and Upazila-levels.

AL joint general secretaries Mahbubul Alam Hanif, Jahangir Kabir Nanak and Abdur Rahman, organising secretaries BM Mozammel Haque, AFM Bahauddin Nasim and AKM Enamul Haque Shamim, among other AL central leaders, were present at the meeting.
