A global seller summit of Amazon, an American e-commerce giant, was held in Bangladesh to promote the domestic products of the country in the international market.
E-Commerce Association of Bangladesh and Area71 jointly organised "Amazon Seller Summit" to develop the e-commerce sector of the country further on Friday in the city.
"Amazon wants to sell the Bangladeshi goods into global buyers with flexible terms and conditions. Sellers can easily listing their products without any costs. Our agency will ensure full support to the sellers so that they can manage their online business easily on Amazon," said Ahsan Habib, founder of Area 71.
"To gather live experience of launching online business and entering into the international market are the main goals of our agency. A special team of our agency will be trained them to conduct their activities easily," he added.
This team will assist them (sellers) in performance management, order management, in addition to overall account management like product listing, handling price changes, marketing and others.
Amazon Bangladesh Country Manager Shashank Pandey said Bangladesh is a potential country in the e-commerce sector. Amazon will help Bangladeshi sellers so that they can take over the world market by expanding this sector.
More than two hundred businessmen participated in the summit.
