Bangladesh High Commission participates in 15th AITF
Bangladesh High Commission in Abuja actively participated at the 15th Abuja International Trade Fair (AITF) (24 November-4 December 2020) in Abuja, Nigeria.
Under the theme, 'Trade and Commerce Beyond Borders' the fair was arranged by Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), said a press release.
During the Fair, exhibitors, visitors, buyers and sellers appreciated the products on the display of Bangladesh Stall.
On the sideline of the Trade Fair, the officials of the Mission also met a number of CEOs of the companies and potential importers.
On the final day (4 December), Bidosh Chandra Barman, First Secretary and Acting High Commissioner received the Certificate from the Executive Director of Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
AITF 2020 was inaugurated by Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo, Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment of Nigeria in presence of Alh Muhammad Musa Bello, Minister of Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria and Prince Adetokunbo Kayode, President of ACCI.
After the opening ceremony, two Ministers along with other dignitaries visited Bangladesh Stall and appreciated the products on display while making a tour at the fairground.
The High Commission put up a large stall, utilising its wide range of exportables of Bangladesh which were on display including, among others, pharmaceuticals, ceramic products, jute and leather products, ready-made garments & knitwear, handicrafts, tea, electrical and home appliances and agro-products. Products donated by some prominent Bangladeshi companies (Walton Group, Monno Ceramics, ACI Ltd, Mondol Group) were also on display.
