The company in a partnership with Rancon Group will operate their business here
The iconic British automotive brand Morris Garages has started its operations in Bangladesh, considering the country as one of the fastest growing economies and its growing demands for luxury vehicles.
The company in a partnership with Rancon Group will operate their business here.
Rancon on Thursday celebrated the launching ceremony of Morris Garages in Bangladesh with its MG ZS car model.
Considering demand, they will also bring other models of the brand afterwards.
Morris Garages, popularly known as MG, has a 95-year-long legacy as a prestigious auto brand in the UK.
Rancon officials said Bangladesh is one of the fastest-growing economies, that is why there will be an alluring demand for prestigious cars like the MG here.
Though the journey of MG in Bangladesh has started with MG ZS, some other exciting models, including value hatchback MG3, technologically advanced crossover sports utility vehicle HS, and electric car ZS EV will also come in future, they added.
The new five-seater crossover MG ZS comes with a smart design, advanced technology, and a “family-ready” built, with a reasonable price at Tk26.5 lakh.
British High Commissioner in Dhaka Robert Chatterton Dickson, Rancon Group Managing Director Romo Rouf Chowdhury and its Director for auto manufacturing division Shawn Hakim, among others, were present at the launching programme.
Robert Chatterton Dickson said, “MG represents the British creativity and innovations. I look forward to seeing the new MG cars on Dhaka roads soon.”
The new MG ZS is available in MG’s flagship showroom located on the Bir Uttam Mir Shawkat Road in the capital.
