No unchecked antibiotics for cattle: HC
The court also ordered the Bangladesh Food Safety Authority (BFSA) to submit by July 28 a report on the actions
The High Court (HC) has asked the authorities to ensure that antibiotics are not used in cattle without prescription of veterinary doctors.
The court also ordered the Bangladesh Food Safety Authority (BFSA) to submit by July 28 a report on the actions it had taken against adulteration of milk, curd and cattle feed.
The HC bench of Justice Nazrul Islam Talukder and Justice KM Hafizul Alam passed the order on Tuesday during the hearing of a suo moto ruling following reports on food adulteration in media.
The bench would further hear the issue on July 28.
