Bus seized over severing hand of Rajshahi student
The vehicle of Mohammad Paribahan was found parked at Sheroil Bus Terminal in Rajshahi.
Police on Saturday night seized the bus that crushed the right arm of a Rajshahi College student.

However, both the driver and the helper of the bus are yet to be apprehended.
The victim, Firoz Sarder, a final year student of social work, lost his hand while returning to Rajshahi from his hometown Bogura. Firoz’s right hand was crushed between the bus he was on and a speedy truck.
On Sunday, Deputy Director of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) Dr Saiful Ferdous said the patient was “getting better”.
On Saturday, teachers, students and Firoz’s classmates staged a demonstration in front of Rajshahi College, demanding arrest of the reckless drivers and compensation for Firoz.
In a similar accident last year, a student of Titumir College in Dhaka – Rajib Hossain – lost his hand and later succumbed to his injuries. The tragic incident stirred the social media, drawing a huge outcry.
Expressing grave concerns over road safety, the High Court later ordered the authorities concerned to pay Tk50 lakh to Rajib's family.
