The school premise in Gulshan 1 is prepared with the latest technology in the prevention of diseases
'Smart Innovations School' based on the world-renowned STEAM Curriculum is being launched at Gulshan in the capital, using courses designed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
The Ministry of Education has already approved the institution. This new type of educational institution under the policy of 'Where Education Meets the Future' will be fully launched from next month.
The STEAM Curriculum includes Science (S), Technology (T), Engineering (E), Arts (A), and Mathematics (M). The education system was first introduced in the United States by the National Science Foundation USA. It then spread to Australia, China, France, South Korea, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom.
At Smart Innovations School, the globally experienced educators strive to identify the talents of children and drive them towards becoming their best selves.
Young minds are encouraged to take up new challenges and prepared to lead the global betterment of society.
With Dr Lori Sanchez as the executive director of the school, a number of unique methods and practices will be incorporated into the school's education system.
The school premise in Gulshan 1 is prepared with the latest technology in the prevention of diseases with continuous indoor air sterilisation and daily UV based sterilisation before and after a school day to reduce the risk of Covid-19.
Following the successful opening of the main campus, Smart Innovations School intends to open a chain of schools with similar facilities and curriculum for the less privileged sections of the society at a marginal cost.
