The Dhaka University authorities have suspended the 'Ka' unit admission test results due to errors while checking the math portion of a question set.
Dr Tofail Ahmed Chowdhury, the coordinator of the admission test and dean of the faculty of science, confirmed the matter to The Business Standard.
"We received some complaints about the result. After a primary investigation, we found evidence of errors and, hence, suspended the result. We are now looking further into the matter," said he.
"Nevertheless, students who are already marked as qualified in the published result will be able to get themselves enrolled into the university. We will add some more students on the list after a thorough investigation," Tofail added.
