MRC provides funds as financial support for meritorious poor students
The money will be given as scholarship to the meritorious poor students of Chunati Union under Lohagara Upazila in Chattogram
The Muslim Research Centre (MRC), an Islamic research institute and humanitarian organization recently provided fund as financial support for the welfare of the meritorious poor students of the country.
Muhammad Rashid Al Mazid Khan Siddiki Mamun, founder of MRC Recently handed over the fund to 'Chunati Samity Dhaka's General Secretary Sajjad Khan, according to a press release.
The money will be given as scholarship to the meritorious poor students of Chunati Union under Lohagara Upazila in Chattogram, the press release said.
Muhammad Rashid Al Mazid Khan Siddiki Mamun, founder of MRC said, "The MRC is delighted to stand by the helpless and poor students of the country. I am thankful to Chunati Samity, Dhaka for extending a helping hand for attaining this great duty."
Sajjad Khan, General Secretary of Chunati Samity Dhaka, said, "An initiative has been taken to provide scholarships to about 150 poor students this year by the Chunati Samity Dhaka."
"I sincerely thank the Muslim Research Centre (MRC) for helping us implement this initiative through financial support, and be with us in this endeavor," he added.
Students from 9th grade to the upper classes of Chunati Union who are studying in educational institutions all over Bangladesh and students from other part of the country studying currently in Chunati can apply for this scholarship, the press release reads.
Finance Secretary Gufranul Wadud Junaid and Assistant Finance Secretary Nur Hosen of the Chunati Samity Dhaka were also present during the ceremony.
