"Scholastica Interschool Science Carnival 2020" (SISC) was held at the Scholastica Senior Mirpur campus on February 13 and February 14.
The event was organised by Scholastica Science Club and sponsored by SynaptEd. Beacon Point and Prime Bank were the co-sponsored of the event, a press release said.
Around more than 500 students from over 43 schools in Bangladesh participated in the carnival.
It has been Scholastica's biggest science event since its establishment in 1977.
The chief guest at the event was Dr Mubarak Ahmad Khan, the leading scientist in the study of jute worldwide.
Alongside traditional competitions such as Science Project Display and multiple Olympiads, there were innovative drone and robotics workshops.

Inspired by his mentor, Dimitri Kountourogianni, senior software engineer at Google, Rakib said, "Our curiosity and creativity today will drive the innovation of tomorrow".
In his closing remarks, Scholastica Science Club's founding (and current) President Md Shamsur Shafi Nur E Aziz said, "SISC 2020 marks the establishment of several new benchmarks for Scholastica Science Club. But I am sure, we will be back next year to set even more. Our success only pushes us to achieve greater milestones".
