In addition to the 20 percent reduction of tuition fees, the university will continue to have a generous waiver policy
The University of Asia Pacific has announced recently 20 per cent waiver on fees and other charges payable by the students for Spring 2020 semester.
"The university authority has made the announcement considering the great difficulties the parents and guardians are facing because of the economic dislocation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic," said Air Cdre (Retd) Ishfaq Ilahi Choudhury, the Treasurer.
He added that in order to alleviate sufferings of students and guardians, the payments of fees for the undergraduate courses shall have five instalments instead of three.
In addition to the 20 percent reduction of tuition fees, the university will continue to have a generous waiver policy.
All the previous waiver policies will be in force through which many students will get up to 100 percent tuition fee waiver.
The total waiver commitment to students stands at around Tk 9 crore.
