Fire at Foreign Ministry
Two units of fire service rushed to the spot and doused the blaze
A fire broke out at the ground floor of the old building of Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the capital at around 10:54pm on Wednesday.
Confirming the matter to The Business Standard, Assistant Secretary of the ministry Mohammad Nasir Uddin Juwel said, "Fire broke out in the AC room of the budget section on the ground floor. We already informed the fire service."
Duty Officer of Fire Service Headquarters Kamrul Islam said, "Two units of fire service rushed to the spot and doused the blaze after 30 minutes effort."
