Foreign Minister expresses solidarity with China’s national day of mourning
He also expressed his deep condolences for the loss of lives due to the outbreak of coronavirus in Wuhan city and other places in China
Foreign Minister Dr A K Abdul Momen expressed his solidarity with China in mourning those who died in the coronavirus pandemic.
"I am very touched to learn that the People's Republic of China is going to observe mourning on April 4, 2020, for the martyrs who died in the fight against the fatal Covid–19 pandemic and compatriots died of coronavirus infection," Dr Momen said in a message sent to China's State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
He also expressed his deep condolences for the loss of lives due to the outbreak of coronavirus in Wuhan city and other places in China. He conveyed his sincere sympathy for the families of the victims.
The foreign minister assured that the people and the Bangladesh government are with the people and the government of China to address the crisis.
He also extended his sincere thanks to Chinese Foreign Minister for taking well care of Bangladeshi citizens living in China at the tragic moment of coronavirus outbreak.
