Govt withdraws duty on dengue testing kits
The National Board of Revenue (NBR) on Monday issued an order in this regard.
The government has decided to withdraw duty on dengue testing kits till October 31 this year.
The National Board of Revenue (NBR) issued an order on this on Monday.
According to the order, imports of dengue testing kits, reagent and kits for platelet and plasma separation will be exempt from import duty, Value Added Tax (VAT), advance tax and advance income tax upon approval from the Drug Administration Directorate, which will monitor whether the import was made properly.
The order will be effective from Monday, August 5.
