The High Court directed Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas, special assistant of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, to surrender at a lower court within two weeks in a case for obstructing police from discharging their government duties.
The HC bench of Justice Jahangir Hossain and Justice Md Riaz Uddin Khan issued the order on Monday after rejecting his bail petition.
