The sailors came here on a coal-laden ship from Singapore. They have been advised not to disembark from the ship, which is anchored at Harbaria area of the port.
They have been kept in three separate rooms of the ship as per the advice of Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR).
Port authorities said, all the crew members including the Bangladeshis are advised not to disembark from the ship.
Harbor Master of the Port Commander Faker Uddin has confirmed the matter.
Meanwhile, Port Health Department Officer Sufiya Khatun said: "Three crew members of the ship MV Severnitas N carrying the flag of Marshall Islands were diagnosed with fever."
"However coronavirus was not found on their body. Two of them have recovered already, and another crew has mild fever, which is very normal. There is nothing to be worry about. Still they are kept under observation."
