Chinese citizen hospitalised with fever, cough

A Chinese national, who is suffering from fever and cough, was admitted to a private hospital in the capital on Monday.
He has been kept in a special room of the hospital as he might have got infected with coronavirus. However, no test is done yet to check for the virus.
When contacted, the hospital authorities declined to make any comment on this matter.
Dr Mirzadi Sabrina Flora, director of the Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control and Research, told The Business Standard, "We cannot give any information about a particular patient. We are getting many information about coronavirus but it is not possible to say anything before conducting a test."
"We are scanning all the people coming from China," she added.
According various sources, the Chinese citizen came to the hospital for treatment at 2:30pm on the day. After a primary health check-up, doctors found him suffering from fever, cough and breathing problem. He has been kept in an isolated room. This man came to Dhaka between January 18 and 20.
