45 govt officials to monitor hospitals
They will have to submit a monthly report to the ministry after visiting the hospitals
The health ministry has assigned 45 government officials to monitor healthcare services in different hospitals across the country amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
They will have to submit a monthly report to the ministry after visiting the hospitals.
An official order signed by Abdus Salam, deputy secretary of the health services division of the health and family welfare ministry, has been issued in this regard, restructuring the monitoring committee formed on April 7.
During their visit, these officials will observe: the state of the facilities' cleanliness, medical equipment usage, construction work, the management of purchasing drugs and other assets, the quality of food, plus fire and disaster management capacities.
The monitoring committee will also ensure people stay indoors amid the pandemic.
