Law minister takes coronavirus vaccine
Law Minister Anisul Huq has taken coronavirus vaccine at Kurmitola General Hospital in the capital on Wednesday.
On the fourth day of the mass-immunisation drive, the minister went to the hospital at noon and took the jab, said a press release.
Bangladesh launched the mass-vaccination drive on 7 February, with an aim to vaccinate some 35 lakh people in the first phase.
Earlier on 28 January, State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak and Health Secretary Abdul Mannan received the vaccine at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
The number of Covid-19 vaccine recipients more than doubled Tuesday, the third day of the mass inoculation campaign in Bangladesh.
