Walton Director Mahbub Alam Mridul’s Kulkhani on Monday
Mridul breathed his last at a private hospital of the capital on Thursday at 6:23pm following a cardiac arrest
The kulkhani of late Mahbub Alam Mridul, young entrepreneur and director of Walton Group, will be held at his residence in the village of Gosai Joair in Tangail Sadar at 12:30 pm on Monday.
On the occassion, special prayers will be offered for the eternal peace of his departed soul, reads a press release by Walton on Sunday.
Mridul breathed his last at a private hospital of the capital on Thursday at 6:23pm following a cardiac arrest, it added.
He was buried in the family graveyard on the next day following his namaj-e-janaza after Jumu'ah at his residence in the village.
Walton family mourns the sudden death of the young entrepreneur. To mourn the deceased, Walton Group announced a general holiday last Saturday.
On Sunday, after Johar, prayer was offered for the eternal peace of his departed soul at the Walton's offices across the country. The members of all sister concerns of Walton Group wore black badges to mourn the young director's death.
Mahbub Alam Mridul was born on 25 January 1997 in the village of Gosai Joair in Tangail Sadar Upazila to a prominent Muslim business family.
His father SM Shamsul Alam is the Vice Chairman of Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited. Mridul joined Walton Group as a director on 1 September 2019 and put outstanding signatures of his merit in a short time.
