If the moon is sighted tomorrow, the holy month of Ramadan will begin on Saturday.
The National Moon-Sighting Committee will sit tomorrow to decide the date of the starting of Ramadan.
State Minister for Religious Affairs Sheikh Md Abdullah will chair the meeting at the conference hall of Islamic Foundation in the capital on Friday evening.
"If the moon will be seen anywhere in Bangladesh, the holy month of Ramadan will start on Saturday," said Kazi Nurul Islam, secretary of the Islamic Foundation.
