The ride sharing services with listed vehicles can start providing services from Sunday
Ride sharing service vehicles with enlistment certificates from the Bangladesh road transport authority (BRTA) can now operate in Dhaka, Narayanganj, Gazipur, Manikganj, Narsinghdi and Munshiganj districts to help passengers commute to their destinations maintaining proper social distancing.
The decision came in a videoconference meeting conducted by the BRTA on Saturday, said a government notice issued by the BRTA.

But the permission to conduct ride sharing via motorbikes has not been granted as social distancing cannot be maintained while using this mode of transportation.
