A Dhaka court on Monday put two persons, arrested during the raids at spa centres in the city, on two and three days of remand respectively.

The persons were Asaduzzaman and Rooh-e Alam.

Metropolitan Magistrate Atiqul Islam passed the order.

Rejecting a bail petition, the court also sent 16 others to jail.

On Sunday, acting on a tip-off, police raided three spa centres in Gulshan and detained 18 people for their alleged involvement in anti-social activities.
