They were arrested from West Deobhog area of Fatulla on Tuesday night while waiting with sharp weapons beside a field to attack the teen.
Police arrested three members of a “teen-gang” and recovered five locally made weapons from their possession in Fatulla of Narayanganj on Tuesday.
They were arrested from West Deobhog area of Fatulla, confirmed Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Fatulla police station, Aslam Hossain.
The OC said the boys had a dispute with another teen over establishing supremacy in the area before Eid-ul-Adha.
On Tuesday night, the three were waiting with sharp weapons beside a field to attack the teen.
On suspicion, local people detained and handed them over to Narayanganj Sadar police station.
Later, the police transferred them to Fatulla police station since the area of the incident falls under Fatulla police station, said the OC.
The OC also said the three members are being interrogated and a case will be filed under the Arms Act.
