Youth stabbed to death over money dispute
A case was filed with Bayazid Bostami Police Station in this connection
A youth was stabbed to death in Baluchora area of Chattogram city on Thursday, following an argument over borrowed money.
The deceased was Nazrul Islam, 30, son of Saleh Ahmed, hailing from Hathazari upazila in the district.
Sub-Inspector of Bayazid Bostami Police Station Suman Barua said Emran Hossen allegedly stabbed Nazrul over a money dispute. Nazruldied on the way to Chattogram Medical College and Hospital.
Later, Fazlur Rahman, younger brother of Nazrul, filed a case with Bayazid Bostami Police Station against Emran.
The accused Emran Hossen, 50, son of Delowar Hossen, hails from EnayetBazar in the district.
The sub-inspector said, "Both of them were addicted to drugs. We are conducting an operation to capture the killer."
