Using the 'City Ekhoni App', interested customers who have NID card will be able to open their own bank account. This app is available for both iOS and Android users.
Account opening is very simple using the City Ekhoni Account App. At first, customers have to install the 'City Ekhoni Account' app from respective app stores. After opening the app, customers are asked to choose the type of account they want to open.
The next step is OTP verification by which the customer's mobile number is verified. Then the customer has to upload images of the front and backside of NID, which will be verified in real time. Once NID is verified, customer will be asked to take his selfie.
Upon selfie verification, customers will have to provide a few more information. After submitting the information, the customer will have to select the desired product and branch. After that, the account is opened in real time.
The customer will receive their bank account number through SMS and will be able to start transacting right away.
