Salma Adil Foundation stands beside students in need
Students must have to be from the 9th grade to the upper classes to avail this scholarship in Chunati Samity
The Salma Adil Foundation (Saf) has been working to promote the welfare and education of the poor and helpless people of the country. Following this, now the company is providing financial assistance to facilitate talent development for the students of Chunati.
On behalf of the Foundation, Md Farid Hossain Reza has recently handed over the fund cheque to Sajjad Khan, secretary of 'Chunati Samity, Gufranul Wadud Junaid, finance secretary, and Nur Hosen, assistant finance secretary, according to a press release.
Saf has been carrying out various humanitarian activities for the welfare of the people in need. The foundation has been from providing financial assistance along with food support to the poor and marginalised people since the pandemic began.
Apart from this, the Foundation has also provided a variety of health care facilities, such as- PPEs & face masks to the front-liners including doctors, police and journalists. Also, they have been providing free coronavirus test facilities as well as taking necessary measures to bury the Covid-19 caused dead bodies.
But The Foundation's education support program has not stopped in all of this. Recently, Saf has provided financial assistance to the poor students in East Satbaria in Chandanaish to enroll in class 11. Following this, now the 'Chunati Samity, Dhaka' has been given financial assistance for the welfare of poor students of Chunati.
In this regard- Salma Adil, founding director of the Salma Adil Foundation, said, "Since the establishment of the foundation, we have been doing our best to benefit the poor and marginalised people of the country." She added, "We always take health and education very seriously. As part of the series, the Salma Adil Foundation stands by the poor students of Chunati."
"Following the sequence in the past six years, for the seventh time at a row we are going to provide scholarships to the poor" said Asad Khan, president of Chunati Samity. "The way the Salma Adil Foundation has been sincerely supporting our small efforts is truly remarkable. I hope that their liberal spirit will inspire others in the community" he added.
Founded in 1986, Chunati Samity, Dhaka has been regularly supporting meritorious students through scholarship since 2014. About 150 meritorious poor students will avail scholarships this year.
Students of Chunati Union, who are studying in different schools in Bangladesh, can also apply for this scholarship. Apart from this, students from other parts of the country who are studying in five schools located in Chunati Union can also apply. Students must have to be from the 9th grade to the upper classes to avail this scholarship in Chunati Samity.
