Issuing an order in this regard, the district administration directed residents of the areas to stay at home
The district administration has declared nine areas of Bogura as red zones to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.
The areas are-- Chelowpara, Nataipara, Naruli, Joleshwaritala, Sutrapur, Maltinagar, Thanthania, Haripara and Colony area. The declaration will be effective from 5pm this afternoon.
Issuing an order in this regard, the district administration directed residents of the areas to stay at home.
However, people would be allowed to go out upon maintaining health guidelines in case of any emergency, reads the notice, issued on Sunday. Besides, the emergency services will be available in the red zone areas.
The district deputy commissioner issued seven points directives banning all kinds of meetings and gatherings.
