Army gives food to 800 families in Narayanganj
Lieutenant colonel Abdul Muttakim, battalion captain of Bangladesh army in Narayanganj district handed over these foodstuffs to the families in need of food in Narayanganj on Wednesday.
The Bangladesh Army has provided food to 800 needy families in Narayanganj Sadar Upazila.

Lieutenant colonel Abdul Muttakim said, "We are trying to encourage people and make them aware about the current Coronavirus situation."
"We are trying to stay by the side of the people by providing food and necessary commodities to daily wage earners and poor people," Abdul Muttakim further said.
"These activities by the Bangladesh Army will continue," he added.
Upazila Nirbahi officer (UNO) Nahida Barik said, "We are trying to raise awareness from the very beginning of the situation. It is our success that nobody in our Upazila has been diagnosed with Coronavirus yet."
Officials of the upazila administration and Bangladesh Army personnel among others were present at the program.
