As a part of its social responsibilities, the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) has provided relief for Covid-19 affected people who have become unemployed and helpless due to the lockdown imposed in the country to curb Coivd-19 outbreak.
The relief was handed over to deputy minister for education Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel on Sunday.
Besides, the BGMEA also handed over relief to Chattogram mayor AJM Nasir Uddin and Chattogram Metropolitan Police Commissioner Md Mahabubor Rahman, BPM, PPM.
BGMEA first vice president Mohammad Abdus Salam, vice president AM Chowdhury Selim, directors Belayet Hossain, Anjon Shekhar Das, Mohammad Atik, Enamul Aziz Chowdhury, former first vice president Shahabuddin Ahmed and Moinuddin Ahmed, former vice president Mohammad Ferdous, former director MDM Mohiuddin Chowdhury, Saif Ullah Mansur and BGMEA member Abu Hasnat Chowdhury were present on the occasion.
