Boy dies in coronavirus isolation unit in Chattogram

A boy has died at the coronavirus isolation ward at Chattogram General Hospital on Wednesday morning.
Chattogram Civil Surgeon Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi said, "The boy was brought to Chattogram General Hospital from Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital on Tuesday.
"We kept him in the isolation unit of the hospital for treatment. But he died at 7:00 am today."
"However, we collected samples of throat swabs and blood of the boy and sent to Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases for coronavirus detection test," Dr Rabbi added.
