Cumilla district will remain under complete lockdown from Friday (April 10) to curb the spread of novel coronavirus.
The lockdown will continue until further notice, a circular issued by the district's Deputy Commissioner's office says.
Public transports will be completely shut down during the lockdown. No one will be allowed to get in or out of the district.
Emergency services, such as medical, food supply chain etc will be out of the purview of restriction.
The civil administration, army and law enforcement agencies will work along with local administration during the time of lockdown, the press release further reads.
