Govt designates 4 more hospitals for coronavirus treatment
The hospitals are - Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, Mugda General Hospital, Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital and Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital
The government have designated four more hospitals for treating coronavirus infected patients as the number of patients are increasing daily.
The hospitals are - Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, Mugda General Hospital, Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital and Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital.
A circular issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare asked the hospital authorities to send all the patients, who are currently undergoing treatment there, to Dhaka Medical College Hospital and prepare the hospitals to treat coronavirus patients.
Death toll from the deadly virus has risen to 60 in Bangladesh as of Thursday and a total of 1,572 people have been infected so far.
About 2,076,015 people around the world have been infected with the deadly virus and 138,008 deaths were reported globally till date.
