High Court judge tests Covid-19 positive
A High Court justice has been diagnosed positive with the novel coronavirus.
Confirming the matter to The Business Standard, Supreme Court spokesperson Saifur Rahman said, "The judge was suffering from fever and cough from May 8. He was tested positive for coronavirus on May 11."
"He was taken to Mugda General Hospital on May 13 as his condition deteriorated. Later he was shifted to Combined Military Hospital," he added.
The justice was appointed as temporary judge with the High Court on May 30 in 2018.
