IPDC Manobota launched to help virus-hit people
Considering the issue, IPDC launched the new deposit product to encourage the wealthy people to stand beside the poor during this time
IPDC Finance Limited, the first-ever private financial institution in Bangladesh, has recently launched the IPDC Manobota, a deposit scheme, to help people save money and provide food for the underprivileged people during the Covid-19 pandemic, said a press statement on Saturday.
The world is going through a tough time due to the coronavirus outbreak and Bangladesh is not an exception in this regard. The worst affected of this crisis are the poor people.
Due to the less affordability of buying food and other products, thousands of people are compelled to live on a very insignificant amount of food during the holy Ramadan that started amid the outbreak.
Considering the issue, IPDC launched the new deposit product to encourage wealthy people to stand beside the poor during this time.
According to the press statement, for each Tk1 lakh deposited in an 'IPDC Manobota' account, an impoverished family will be provided with food for an entire month by the joint contribution of depositor and the IPDC.
The financial organisation through this offer is encouraging the wealthy people to stand beside the poor along with saving money in their accounts.
