Jhorapata foundation stands beside the helpless

Working-class and disabled people are suffering badly because of the countrywide lockdown to curb the novel coronavirus outbreak. But the Jhorapata Foundation has taken an initiative to help them.
The Jhorapata Foundation has undertaken a project to help working-class and disabled people in the Mirpur area of the capital. The charity organization distributed essential commodities and cooked food among 115 families in two phases.
The officer in charge of Pallabi Police Station, Najrul Islam, the founding president of the Jhorapata Foundation, and many others were present while conducting these activities.
Najrul Islam said, "Poor people are suffering miserably because of the lockdown. Those who can afford it should stand by these people and help them."
Jhorapata started working officially during cyclone 'Sidr'. They have been doing charity work since then.
