PM instructs to proceed with steps taken to combat Covid-19
The Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has reviewed the latest Covid-19 updates today and provided with necessary guidance to bolster the country's fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
A meeting was held at the Prime Minister's official residence Gonobhaban today in this regard, where topics - such as the measures taken so far to contain coronavirus infection, plans on the collection of medical and safety equipment and the future initiatives to inhibit Covid-19 – were discussed.
The meeting was attended by the Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam, PM's Principal Secretary Ahmed Kaikaus, PMO Secretary Tofazzal Hossain Mia, PM's personal physician Professor ABM Abdullah, Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Professor Dr Abul Kalam Azad and Director of the Central Medical Stores Depot (CMSD) Abu Hena Morshed Zaman.
