Police barrack in Ctg locked down after a cop tests positive for Covid-19
225 people including 200 cops were sent to home-quarantine
A police barrack in Chattogram was put under lockdown after a traffic constable of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) tested positive for Covid-19.
Confirming the matter to The Business Standard, additional deputy commissioner Abu Bakar Siddqiue said, "225 people including 200 cops were sent to home-quarantine."
The traffic constable, 55, had been undergoing treatment at the divisional police hospital. He was later taken to Chattogram General Hospital on Sunday (April 12).
So far 14 coronavirus cases and two deaths were reported in the port city.
