‘Stay home to prevent coronavirus’
Kamal Mojumder requested people to get out of home only when it is extremely urgent
State Minister for the Ministry of Industries, Kamal Ahmed Mojumder, has urged people to stay at home to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
He requested people to come out of home only when it is extremely urgent, according to a statement issued on Wednesday.
The state minister was addressing a programme of distributing food and daily necessaries among the poor at Monipur High School and College in the Mirpur area of the capital on Wednesday.
Each family received rice, lentils, potatoes and other essentials.
Kamal Ahmed Mojumder said that several hospitals have been prepared in Mymensingh, Rajshahi and Rangpur for coronavirus patients.
The physicians also have sufficient personal protective equipment, he added.
The state minister also urged people to follow cleanliness measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
