Suspected coronavirus patient sent to isolation in Satkhira
Dr Manos from Satkhira Medical College Hospital said the young man came to the hospital to get treatment for asthma, fever and shortness of breath.
A young man with fever and breathing problems has been admitted to the isolation centre in Satkhira Medical Hospital on Monday in a fear that he might be infected with the coronavirus.
The man hails from Moutola area in Satkhira. But his name could not be known.
Dr Manos from Satkhira Medical College Hospital said the young man came to the hospital to get treatment for asthma, fever and shortness of breath. He also had diabetes.
"Seeing his conditions, we suspected that he was infected by Covid-19. We are trying to communicate with IEDCR over his issue," said the doctor.
Superintendent of Satkhira Medical College and Hospital Dr Md Rafiqul Islam said that the young man has been admitted to the isolation ward. "We will collect samples from him and send those to IEDCR."
