Biman to resume London flight from June 21
There will be modified meal services and care kits available for all passengers
Biman Bangladesh Airlines will resume its flights to London from June 21 as flight operations on international routes resumed after two months of suspension due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Md Mokabbir Hossain, managing director and CEO of the national flag carrier confirmed to The Business Standard.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines today issued a notice mentioning the safety precautions amid Covid-19 outbreak.
According to the issued notice, "Seats will be allocated in observance of social distancing and proper aircraft cleaning measures will be taken."
There will be modified meal services and care kits available for all passengers.
Earlier on March 9, Biman Bangladesh Airlines suspended 74 flights out of 142 on 10 routes out of 18 to some middle-eastern countries, India, Malaysia, and Singapore. Later, Biman gradually canceled all international flights to curb the coronavirus spread.
Flight operations on international routes from Bangladesh resumed on June 16 after over two months of suspension.
