Foreigners can extend visas for 3 months: Momen

The minister also added that initiatives will be taken for Bangladeshis who remain abroad

The foreigners currently staying in Bangladesh will be able to extend their visa period for three months, Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen said amid a worldwide ban on flights triggered by the novel coronavirus.

The minister also added that initiatives will be taken for Bangladeshis who remain abroad.

Momen made the remark during a meeting with foreign diplomats at state guest house Padma in the capital today.

He also briefed the foreign participants about the precautionary measures the country has taken to fight coronavirus.
