Syed Tanvir appointed as independent director at Chattogram Stock Exchange
He is also an elected director of the Chattogram Chamber of Commerce and Industry
The securities regulatory body Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has approved the appointment of Syed Mohammed Tanvir as the new independent director of the Chattogram Stock Exchange.
Syed Mohammed Tanvir is the managing director of Pacific Jeans. He is also an elected director of the Chattogram Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The approval was given on 20 January at the 758th commission meeting that was presided over by Professor Dr Shibli Rubayat-ul-Islam, chairman of the BSEC.

The Chattogram Stock Exchange issued a letter in this regard on 21 January.
According to a press release issued by the BSEC, the appointment of Syed Mohammed Tanvir as an independent director has been approved as per 3(2) of the Chattogram Stock Exchange Resolutions-2013.
