Pamela Anderson weds producer Jon Peters secretly
The nuptials mark the fifth marriage for both Anderson and Peters.
Pamela Anderson and producer Jon Peters are married, The Hollywood Reporter and People magazine confirmed.
The news outlets reported that the couple secretly got married in a private ceremony in Malibu on Monday.
"They are very much in love and were married yesterday," Anderson's publicist Matthew Berritt told People.
Anderson, 52, and Peters, 74, first dated over 30 years ago, they met in the mid-80s while at Hugh Hefner's mansion.
Peters gushed about the former Playboy playmate to The Hollywood Reporter, saying Anderson is the only woman he's had an interest in for nearly four decades. "Pamela has never seen her full potential as an artist," he said. "She has yet to shine in a real way. There is much more to her than meets the eye, or I wouldn't love her so much."
The new husband continued, "There are beautiful girls everywhere. I could have my pick, but – for 35 years – I've only wanted Pamela. She makes me wild – in a good way. She inspires me. I protect her and treat her the way she deserves to be treated."
The site also stated that they rekindled their relationship in recent months and kept it under wraps.
Anderson shared a statement in the form of a poem, which partly read, "Jon is the original 'bad boy' of Hollywood/no one compares/I love him deeply like family... We understand and respect each other/We love each other without conditions/I'm a lucky woman."
The nuptials mark the fifth marriage for both Anderson and Peters.
Meanwhile in an exclusive statement to Fox News, Pamela Anderson's son Brandon Thomas Lee expressed his full of support for the newlyweds.
"I'm incredibly happy for my mom and Jon," Brandon gushed. "They've known each other for over 35 years and I wish them luck in this next chapter of their lives together. I will support the happy couple however I can and I'm excited to get to know Jon's family even better."
Anderson was married to musician Tommy Lee, Kid Rock and twice to poker player Rick Salomon. She had a close relationship with Julian Assange.
Peters was married to Henrietta Zampitella, film producers Christine Forsyth-Peters, Mindy Peters and actress Lesley Ann Warren.
Anderson and Peters both have children from previous relationships; Peters has five, and Anderson has two.
Anderson is best known for her role in the 1989 series "Baywatch." She also starred in 1996's "Barb Wire" and 2003's "Scary Movie 3."
Peters had producing roles in 2018's "A Star Is Born," 2006's "Superman Returns" and 1989's "Batman."
