Tony Iommi wants to record new materials
When Iommi provided “Queen” guitarist Brian May with samples of his latest guitar riff ideas, the rocker urged him to release them
Tony Iommi, guitarist of the pioneer heavy metal band "Black Sabbath," has said that he has plenty of new materials to record.
In an interview, the veteran musician said he has been sitting on a mountain of about "500 guitar riffs." The Black Sabbath shredder said he is ready to lay some of them down in the studio.
When Iommi provided "Queen" guitarist Brian May with samples of his latest guitar riff ideas, the rocker urged him to release them.
When May said to Iommi that he should do an album with these, Iommi replied, "'No, I don't want to do that. I'm going to do them properly."
