Bangladesh played three ODIs in the series and lost all of them.
After a dismal show in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh national cricket team return home on Thursday afternoon. They landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 1:45pm (BdST) but didn’t face media.
Bangladesh played three ODIs in the series and lost all of them. They were completely rudderless in all the three matches and in every department.
In the first game, Kusal Perera made the difference hitting a ton and the Sri Lankan pacer were also tremendous as they bundled the Tigers only for 223 all-out. Apart from Mushfiqur Rahim (67), none of the Bangladeshi batsmen lived up to the expectation on the match.
In the second match, Mushfiqur hit another fifty (98*), but the other batsmen were disappointed to show their batting prowess. The Tigers suffered a seven-wicket loss in the second game.
After losing the series, Bangladesh had a dream to end the event with consolation win, but they failed to grab that. They lost the last game by 122 runs.
Throughout the series, Bangladeshi batsmen were completely colourless. They even failed to create any chaos for the Lankan bowling attack.
