The Pilot of the airplane became aware of the difficulty after taking off
A 26-member National team was supposed to fly to Oman on Sunday to play their away match for the joint qualification for the FIFA World Cup 2022 and AFC Asian Cup 2023 against Oman on November 14.
But the Bangladesh Biman flight (BG 021) was canceled due to technical errors.
The Pilot of the airplane became aware of the difficulty after taking off.
He then decided not to continue with the flight and landed the craft back safely.
The National team's flight was rescheduled to Monday morning. National Team coach Jamie Day and Captain Jamal Bhuiyan will join the squad today. Day is in the USA and Jamal will join from Spain.
Bangladeshi booters will start a 10-day training camp there that also includes a practice match against a top football club of Oman. Bangladesh have been put in Group E of the AFC Cup with Qatar, Oman, Afghanistan and neighbouring India.
