Inter Milan have signed Manchester United’s Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku, the Italian club announced on Thursday, in a deal reported by local media at 80 million euros (73.8 million pounds).
“Inter is not for everyone, that’s why I’m here”, Lukaku, who was wearing the Inter kit, said in a video posted on the Serie A club’s official Twitter feed.
The Belgian forward, who enjoyed a bright start at United before ending his second season battling for a place in the team, arrived at Malpensa airport in the early hours of the morning amid reports the two clubs had agreed an 80 million euros (£73.73 million) deal for the 26-year-old.
