Shakib Al Hasan Foundation steps up to battle coronavirus

Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has stepped up to help his countrymen battle the rising coronavirus threat in the country.
The left-armer's Shakib Al Hasan Foundation will be helping fund people without jobs in a campaign called 'Mission Save Bangladesh', Shakib informed in his verified social media accounts.
"So far, over 2,000 families in poverty have been helped via this campaign," Shakib said, before urging others to help those in need to.
To battle the rising Covid-19 menace, 27 of the contracted Bangladesh cricketers had previously donated half of their month's wage, a total over 30 lac taka.
So far, five people in the country have died from the novel coronavirus while 48 have been officially tested positive for the pandemic.
